Software Engineer

Title: Software Engineer
 
Reports To: Senior Technical Manager
 
Job Purpose:
 
Involved in QNX Real-Time Operating Software Projects.
 
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
  1. To drive design wins with our principals’ products, support development of identified customer projects and ensure close compliance to pre-defined schedules.
  2. To help qualify, trouble-shoot and fix technical problems and issues reported by customer.
  3. To help improve customer's knowledge and proficiency in company's product and solutions through training and consultancy.
  4. To support the introduction, presentation and promotion of company's product and solutions to prospective customer and their business partner.
  5. To report product marketing trends and emerging product features/requirements based on field observation and customer requests.
Requirements:
  1. Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering preferably in the fields of Networking/Automotive/Industrial Automation (those without qualifications but with relevant experience may be considered)
  2. Proficiency in embedded system firmware programming and driver programming with C and assembler languages a must
  3. Knowledge of QNX/VXWorks/Linux a definite advantage
  4. Able to work independently and results-oriented
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to support multiple projects with multiple customers
  6. Fluency in English and Mandarin (Putonghua)
  7. Willing to travel to PRC, and other Asian countries
  8. Fresh graduates are welcome
